About Me

Hello! I'm Megan Van Zanten, a Certified KonMari® Consultant in McMinnville, Oregon. ​I live with my husband, daughter, and our dog, Teddy.​ 

 

Over the years, I have tried a lot of decluttering and organizing methods. Even though I enjoyed organizing, I was never able to put my house in real order. I assumed that I couldn't have one of "those" houses- the ones that felt effortless and comfortable. Then, a friend gave me The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. Using the KonMari steps, I created the home that I had always wanted. I learned that I was holding on to items that I did not like. I had kept them because I thought that it would make other people happy. The KonMari Method® gave me permission to live with what made me happy and to graciously let go of the rest.
